Want to improve this question? So it's for Cross Validated.Closed 5 years ago.I would like to know whether any empirical studies have been conducted on the so-called 'Law of the Seven Degrees of Separation', a statement that any two people in the world are separated by at most seven connections connecting one person (acquaintance, friend, relative, or other) to another.I wonder whether any statistical data is available on this (presumably it's just hype, but I would really like to know to what extent this is true, and what the data says with respect to this matter).
It's warm down there. I'll meet you there I'm sure!As far as 6 degrees of separation, I'm at one degree now and possibly zero.

Posted some of it on FB, responding to a friends concern. For those not of FB here's what's going on:Coronavirus in my neighborhood! An employee at the clubhouse. It's closed for a deep cleaning until tomorrow except for mail and packages for a few hours per day!
I feel for the employee and worry since I live with older people! I'm the young one up here!
-19I'm getting a chest x-ray in a few hours. I've been short of breath a lot lately, not everyday, but often.
Alexis Smith is very good as a publisher, he is owner a Printing and Graving office called the New Clarion. The film is allegedly based on facts, upon a real robbing: The Colossal Cave Legend, whose thieves hid their loot at a caver. While Victor Jory performs the nasty role as a poweful mine owner who wants to take the gold as well as the girl. Greedy spiders wild hills level 5. Stars MacDonald Carey as the ex-con who arrives in town and citizens offer him services and goods hoping to share in the loot.
And not after working out, just sitting on the couch on the laptop and watching TV. Doctor was going to wait until I get over my bacterial bronchitis, but called after an appointment in the morning. Could just be allergies, but could be more. I'm concerned, but no more than I was in the past week.
One day at a time! Just one more thing to deal with and take care of.I'm more worried of my mother being exposed and it's more likely she was, as she spends a lot of time at the clubhouse working out and at events (all have been cancelled lately). She's 75, diabetic but in better physical shape than me. Very stubborn and a retired nurse. Worst type of patient. I know where I get my stubbornness from at least!
I want her to call her doctor and see if she can be tested, but know she won't which bothers me a lot.
